Vaporware English is a neologism which indicate sarcastically products (software or hardware) of the release is announced officially on the market soon, but not later see the light, for lack of resources or because they were too ambitious.

In Italy we do not miss anything, then we too have our titles impossible, that some sites persist for years as a report to be published, but no one knows when they will ever see the light . In particular, we know that Simon and Schuster, the publishing house that publishes almost all of Tolkien's books in our country, has long since acquired the rights for Italy's two interesting books: one is the new edition, edited by Verlyn Flieger, the essay On Fairy-stories, accompanied by a critical study of the history and composition of the text. The other is the wise Tolkien, The Lord of Middle Earth to Paul Kocher. For the first it is possible that the delay is due to technical reasons, or slowness of the translator, we do not know well. Regarding the latter, however, know the Italian translators, and we know that the text was ready in 2007, also the same Bompiani had already indicated as "publication" for October 2008.
